His research interests are in primary prevention of cardiovascular disease and modelling the impact and cost-effectiveness of interventions to reduce blood pressure and other cardiovascular risk factors. Currently serves as Associate Editor for BMC Cardiovascular Disorders and reviewer for several international journals. He is a member of High Blood Pressure Research Council of Australia (HBPRCA) and the International Society of Hypertension.
