Member of:

European Society of Cardiology

Tong currently works in the Cardiology unit, department of medicine, Karolinska Institutet, as a researcher. The main purpose of his doctoral study is to investigate the function of red blood cells in ischemic heart disease and endothelial dysfunction with a particular focus on nitric oxide-relevant signaling pathways and communication between red blood cells and cardiomyocytes.
