Ms Amy Hoang-Kim

In Amy's most recent role as senior policy advisor in the economic analysis and evaluation unit in the strategic planning and policy division at the Ontario Ministry of Health, Dr. Amy Hoang-Kim is responsible for leading some of the health transformation initiatives in the province that is tied to evaluating performance at the systems level. Her collaboration with the COACH investigators will help reconceptualize readmission reduction strategies at the provincial level taking into consideration gender gaps. Women's Xchange is a center focused on advancing priorities for women in the province. Amy's post doctoral studies served as a backbone to integrating sex and gender into research and into clinical decision-making. Other interests include serving as Chair, of the Orthopaedic Research Society-International Section of Fracture Repair where she leads the platform on setting standards around developing core sets of outcome to improve study designs and practice in fracture repair.
