Professor Susanne Schmidt Pedersen

Susanne S. Pedersen is Head of Department and Professor in Cardiac Psychology at the Department of Psychology, University of Southern Denmark and a Senior Researcher at the Department of Cardiology, Odense University Hospital, Odense, Denmark. She trained as a psychologist at the University of Manitoba, Canada, and at the University of Aarhus, Denmark. She received her PhD in Cardiac Psychology in 2002 from the University of Aarhus and became a professor in 2009. She has authored or co-authored more than 300 publications in international, peer-reviewed scientific journals in the field of cardiac psychology.
