MD degree from Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina (1995). Then he specialized in Cardiology at Italiano Hosp of La Plata between 1996-1999. From 2000 to 2005, he was a Echocardiography Fellow at Hospital Vall d’ Hebron of Barcelona. He presented the Doctoral Thesis (PhD): "Utility Contrast Ecocardiography in the diagnosis and functional assessment of aortic dissection". 2006-2007 he was chief of the Echo Lab at Centro Cardiovascular Sant Jordi, Barcelona. Nowadays, he is Head at the Echocardiography Lab of ICBA. His main research lines are: Cardiomyopathies, aortic disease and 3D echo
