Associate Professor Sigal Eilat-Adar

Prof. Sigal Eilat-Adar is a registered nutritionist and an epidemiologist. She did her postdoctoral project studying the epidemiology of the association between the diet of American Indians and Native Alaskans and cardiovascular disease (CVD). Since then, her expertise has been in the evaluation of public health nutrition, and she is passionate about improving health and well-being. She is the head of a master's program in Healthy and Active Lifestyle Education at The Levinsky-Wingate Academic College, Israel. For the past three decades, Prof. Eilat-Adar has worked as a clinical nutritionist in the Israeli Health Services, and she leads the Israel position statement on nutritional guidelines for prevention and treatment of CVD. In the last few years, Prof. Eilat-Adar has volunteered in various communities around the world, sharing her knowledge and treatment skills.
