Doctor Madalina Iurascu-Botezatu

University Emergency Hospital of Bucharest, Bucharest (Romania)

Member of:

European Society of Cardiology
European Heart Rythm Association
Heart Failure Association

Madalina Iurascu, born and raised in the capital of Romania, started her medical journey at the age of 10, when she first discovered the wonders of human biology and the miracle of Medicine. This journey consisted of the thorough study of physiology with both the wonders and the pain it can develop, as well as the study of people and the best ways to help their needs. Some of the best years of her life were spent volunteering for Save the Children and later on for the Medical Students Society, up until she discovered her true passion in Cardiology and started working in the biggest Emergency Hospital in Bucharest, witnessing firsthand the joy of saving a life. Lately she has taken further this passion and started studying arrhythmology, hoping this path will take her closer to being an electrophysiologist. When she isn't spending long hours at the hospital or studying, Madalina loves reading, but also hiking, climbing and enjoying pure nature. She is looking forward to new challenges.
