Mrs Fatemeh TORABI

Fatemeh Torabi is an Assistant Professor in Health Data at the University of Cambridge and Senior Research Data Scientist at Dementias Platform UK. Her formal training in mathematical statistics and health data science, is core to her multidisciplinary approach in research, she works at the intersection of advanced analytics, real-world data, and translational impact. Her research develops innovative statistical and computational methods for risk prediction, treatment optimisation, and study design in patients with Atrial Fibrillation. She has also pioneered methodologies for data quality assessment, disease phenotyping, and the integration of population-scale datasets. Previously, Fatemeh helped drive the next generation of federated analytics and trusted research environments. Currently, she is leading the delivery of CONNECT-AF Stroke: Cross-TRE Network for Evaluating Clinical Outcomes and National Trends in Embolic Complications of Atrial Fibrillation.
