Doctor Mitchell Saltzberg

Mitchell T. Saltzberg, MD, MSc, FACC, FAHA, FHFSA currently serves as the Medical Director of the Comprehensive Heart Failure and Transplant Program at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Program Director of the Advanced Heart and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship and Enterprise Heart Failure Medical Director. He recently completed a Masters in Health Economics, Outcomes and Management from the London School of Economics and is a graduate of Yale Medical School. He has also completed a year of training as a Scholar with the Institute for HealthCare improvement in collaboration with AIAMC. He serves as Co-Chair of the Membership Committee for the Heart Failure Society of America, and has served on the National Heart Failure and Transplant Committee on behalf of the American College of Cardiology. He has an active research program with a focus on health economics and cost effectiveness in the field of advanced heart failure, MCS and cardiac transplantation.
