Biography
Dr Alessia Martina Trenta, RN, PhD is a nurse researcher at the Cardiology Center Monzino IRCCS in Milan. She works in a Nurse-Led Heart Failure Clinic, and both her clinical work and her research are focused on people with heart failure and patients with LVAD, expecially on self-care. At the Cardiology Center Monzino IRCCS she is also engaged in activities for promoting Evidence-Based Nursing. She is a member of the nursing group of the Italian Society of Cardiology and is the nursing area director of the AICPR (Italian Association of Prevention and Rehabilitation in Cardiology).
