Maddalena De Maria achieved her PhD in nursing at the Department of Biomedicine and Prevention, University of Rome "Tor Vergata". Her primary research area is multiple chronic conditions. She mainly focused her research on Heart Failure, Diabetes Mellitus and COPD, especially the self care of patient-caregiver dyad.
