Miss Joana Do Mar Machado

Joana is originally from Portugal and is currently a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Bath (UK). She completed her BSc (Hons) Nuclear Medicine in June 2014 in Lisbon. Following her studies, she moved to England in November 2014 to start her career as technologist. Joana has achieved many awards in Nuclear Medicine throughout her career and presents her research work at national and international conferences. She was presented with the Editor’s Choice Award for one of the top three manuscripts published in Journal of Nuclear Medicine Technology in 2015. She was also awarded the 2017 Personal Achievement Award, from RUH Bath, in recognition and appreciation of her personal achievement in supporting the work of her current workplace.
