Biography
Andreas Capiau graduated in 2015 as a pharmacist at Ghent University. In 2018, he obtained the Academic Degree of Master of Science in Hospital Pharmacy. In 2024, he successfully defended his PhD titled "Towards rational use of direct oral anticoagulants: unravelling challenges in real-life clinical practice and exploring pharmacist-led strategies", conducted at the Pharmaceutical Care Unit, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Ghent University. He currently works as a postdoctoral researcher at Ghent University and combines this with his role as a hospital pharmacist at Ghent University Hospital.
