Professor Donata Kurpas is a senior researcher at Wroclaw Medical University (Poland, Europe). Her academic interests focus on primary healthcare, including the value and quality of care, as well as indicators of care effectiveness. She is particularly engaged in public health approaches to research design and in translating research findings into community-based programmes, in collaboration with local stakeholders.
She is the Past Chair of the International Advisory Board of EURIPA (European Rural and Isolated Practitioners Association) and of the Primary Care and Risk Factor Management Section of the European Society of Cardiology. She currently serves as the national coordinator of four EU-funded projects on care integration (SAPIENCE, EUVABECO, RAPHAEL, and SP-EU), and is a Board Member of the International Foundation for Integrated Care (IFIC). She also holds the position of Editor-in-Chief of the JCR-indexed journal Advances in Clinical and Experimental Medicine.
