Ms Inge van de Luitgaarden

Inge van de Luitgaarden studied Medicine at the University of Rotterdam in the Netherlands. After graduation, she worked as a medical doctor at the department of internal medicine. She started her PhD in Cardiovascular Epidemiology in September 2017 at the Julius Center for Health Sciences and Primary care in Utrecht, under the supervision of Prof. dr. Rick Grobbee, Prof. dr. Joline Beulens, dr. Ilse Schrieks and dr. Hanne van Ballegooijen. Her research focusses on the public health effects of alcohol consumption. She has a special interest in alternative ways to objectively measure alcohol consumption as a risk factor for disease. Inge combines her PhD-project with a postgraduate Master in Epidemiology.
