Beverley is the President-Elect of the UK Primary Care Cardiovascular Society and works in primary care in Gloucestershire as a hands-on clinical nurse specialist. She has written and developed a range of courses and articles on cardiovascular disease for clinicians and is Editor in Chief of Practice Nurse Journal. She has a particular interest in diabetes, chronic kidney disease and metabolic liver disease. Beverley has sat on national working groups for hypertension, dyslipidaemia and chronic liver disease. She was also involved in the national CVD-PREVENT and Heart Failure at Home programmes. Beverley lives in Hereford, on the border of England with Wales, with her husband and three dogs. She loves theatre, art and music. Oh - and handbags.
