Doctor Andra Gurgu

My name is Gurgu Andra and I am a young cardiology specialist. I attended the "Victor Babes"  University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Timisoara, Romania from which I graduated in 2014. My experiences in medical school led me to attend the residency training programme at the Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases in Timisoara from 2015 until 2020. During this period of time, driven by my ambitious personality, always in search for innovation, I signed up for internship programs abroad. My interest towards research developed during my professional experience in France and Germany and continued after  my return in Romania, where I applied  for a PhD at the "Victor Babes" University of Medicine and Pharmacy,Timisoara. My major plan for the future is to specialize in the intensive cardiac care. This is the medical field that I am most passionate about, where one has to be constantly proactive and, together with the patient, "fight for life".
