Mr Paul McGreavy

Paul McGreavy MSc. FRGS. is a 67 year old semi-retired educational consultant. He has worked in the UK, UAE, Sultanate of Oman and the United Republic of Tanzania. He has also worked with several voluntary 'emergency service' organisations, particularly UK mountain rescue teams and regional ambulance services in the UK as a front-line first responder. In 2016 Paul suffered a STEMI and consequently was fitted with a single stent. Since that time he has worked with the ESC's Patient Forum and The Global Heart Hub as a patient advocate; he is also a member of the ESC Ethics Committee. Paul works with various parts of the UK NHS as a lay advisor specialising in cardiac rehabilitation, artificial intelligence in cardiac medicine and ethics within the cardiac medical context; recently Paul has been invited to act as expert advisor to the NHS North West Genomic Medicine Service Alliance.
