In June 2018 Anna Stepanova graduated residency of non-invasive diagnostic in Central State Medical Academy of Department of Presidential Affairs and started working as a practicing cardiologist. In September 2018 she enrolled the postgraduate course of cardiology. As a research scientist she is investigating diagnostic capabilities of speckle-tracking stress echocardiography in patients with ischemic heart disease. Since her residency she has made a research in which she investigated the possibility of calculating the longitudinal systolic strain of the left ventricular myocardium during stress echocardiography with physical exercise on the treadmill. Now she investigates diagnostic capabilities of speckle-tracking stress-echocardiography in assessment of severity of coronary artery disease.
Left ventricular regional longitudinal strain assessed during speckle-tracking stress echocardiography with physical exercise may identify severe coronary artery disease
Global longitudinal systolic deformation of the left ventricle during stress echocardiography with physical exercise may identify patients with severe coronary artery disease
