Doctor Neng Dai

Zhongshan Hospital, Shanghai (China)

Dr. Neng Dai obtained his M.D., Ph.D. degree in Cardiology from Tongji University in 2015. He received training for molecular imaging and system biology at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School from 2014 to 2016. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow under the supervision of Professor Junbo Ge at Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University from 2018 to 2020. He is now a fellow in training in interventional cardiology at Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University. His research focuses on the cardiovascular imaging and physiology, with special interest on non-invasive imaging (i.e., CT and SPECT) in defining lesion-specific or myocardial ischemia, and plaques stablity by using biomechanics, radiomics, machine learning and Artificial intelligence. He is trying to find out imaging markers to detect vulnerable plaques, and to define vulnerable patients through combination with biomechanical as well as biological markers.
