Doctor Giovanni Quinto Villani

In 1978 he graduated in Medicine and Surgery summa cum laude from the Parma University (ITA). He then specialized in Cardiology (1981 MIlan University, ITA) and Internal Medicine (1986 , Parma University, ITA). Since 1981 he worked as a Cardiologist Specialist at Guglielmo Saliceto Hospital (Piacenza, ITA). Since 1996 he has been Head of Cardiological Rehabilitation Unit of this hospital and since 2008 to 2020 he has been Head of Cardiology Unit and Chief of Emergency Department. Since 2020 he is Chief Medical Officer of the S,Giacomo Rehab Hospital (Piacenza, ITA). From 2011 to 2017 he was a professor at the Cardiology Specialization school at the Parma University. He is actually ESC Fellow (2004) and Deputy Editor of International Journal of Preventive Cardiology. He is also Peer Reviewer for the British Medical Journal, the International Journal of Cardiovascular Medicine and International Journal of Preventive Cardiology.
