Nuclear physician with special interest in Nuclear Cardiology. Have worked several years teaching at the University Hospital; also serve as an expert and consultant for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Past president of the Latin American Society of Biology and Nuclear Medicine (ALASBIMN), currently Editor-in-Chief of ALASBIMN Journal. Member of the International Council, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC). Fellow, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (FASNC). Founder member of AMILO-LATAM Group (research in cardiac amyloidosis). Member of the Editorial Board, Journal of Nuclear Cardiology. Reviewer for several international journals. Author of several papers and book chapters on the specialty, with focus on Nuclear Imaging.
