Ms Marina Bersaoui

Ms. Marina Bersaoui is a researcher and lecturer at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the Anton de Kom University of Suriname. She is a Physical Therapist, specialized in Rehabilitation Sciences for Internal Disorders with a special interest in cardiovascular prevention, cardiac rehabilitation, ethnicity-based exercise programs, cardio-respiratory exercise testing and e-health interventions. Currently doing a PhD at the KU Leuven evaluating the acute and chronic effects of exercise on the blood pressure and blood pressure regulating mechanisms in a population of African or Asian origin with high-to-normal blood pressure of hypertension stage I.
