Professor Florian Straube

Florian Straube is a Senior Attending Cardiologist and Interventional Electrophysiologist in the Department of Cardiology and Internal Intensive Care Medicine at München Klinik Bogenhausen and Schwabing. His clinical and scientific focus is catheter ablation of cardiac arrhythmias, particularly atrial fibrillation, including pulsed field ablation (PFA) and advanced mapping technologies. He obtained his habilitation (venia legendi) in Internal Medicine and Cardiology from LMU Munich in 2019 and was appointed apl. Professor at LMU Munich in 2026. He is actively involved in clinical research and medical education and serves as faculty and reviewer at national and international scientific meetings.
