Pamela was born in Michoacán, Mexico in 1986. She studied medicine at the University of San Nicolas de Hidalgo in Morelia, Mexico. She continued at National Institute of Nutrition Salvador Zubirán the residence in internal medicine. She continued her studies in cardiology at the National Institute of Cardiology Dr. Ignacio Chavez. Later, she made a training in adult echocardiography at the National Institute of Nutrition and then a fellowship in stress echocardiography at the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche in Pisa with Dr. Eugenio Picano. Currently, she works as a cardiologist at the National Institute of Cardiology, in Mexico City.
