Doctor Abdelrahman Abushouk

Abdelrahman is a Cardiology Fellow at Brigham & Women's Hospital/HMS. After graduating medical school at Ain Shams University (top 1% of his class), he did 2 research fellowships in Cardiovascular Medicine at Harvard Medical School and the Cleveland Clinic, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at Yale. He received multiple clinical and research awards, including the Stephen R. Shell Memorial award for outstanding medical educators (from Yale) and the Joseph Cash Memorial award for excellence in health outcomes research (from the Cleveland Clinic). His scholarly work was cited in >30 international guidelines and policy statements. He is also a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (Scientific Excellence Track) and a collegiate of the Sigma Xi Research Honor Society. He is pursuing a career as a physician-scientist in Cardiovascular Medicine.
