Mr Maros Ferencik

Oregon Health and Science University, Portland (United States of America)

Dr. Ferencik is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Section Head of Cardiovascular Imaging at Oregon Health and Science and University. His research focuses on the effective and efficient use of cardiac CT in the assessment of coronary atherosclerosis and coronary artery disease. He studies coronary atherosclerotic plaques and looks for morphologic plaque features associated with high-risk (vulnerable plaques). He is serving as the Secretary of the Society of Cardiovascular CT and is an Associated Editor of the Journal of Cardiovascular CT.

Patient management following CT angiography (result communication, shared decision-making, lifestyle therapies, medical therapies).
