Biography
Professor Eberli trained in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at the University Hospital of Zurich, Switzerland. He spent a research fellowship and an interventional fellowship at the Boston University School of Medicine, where he became a staff physician and was appointed assistant professor. In 1997 he took a position as chief of interventional cardiology at the University Hospital Berne, Switzerland. In 1999, he was granted the Venia docendi (lecturer). He was recruited to the University Hospital Zurich as director of interventional cardiology and deputy chair of cardiology, and appointet as professor (Titularprofessor) by the Universtiy of Zurich. Since 2002 he is chief of cardiology at the Triemli Hospital, Zurich, Switzerland.
