I work as a reseacher and intensivist in cardiosurgery ICU. I conduct a research of organ protection with nitric oxide, hypoxic, and hyperoxic preconditioning against ischemia-reperfusion injury. I conduct a research of endothelial dysfunction for predicting the risk of postoperative complications in patients with CAD, especially I'm interested in patients with diabetes mellitus, COPD, kidney and intestinum disease. Recently my colligues and I finished the study of myocardial protection against ischemia-reperfusion injury in model of acute myocardial infarction on the background of CPB (experimental part of this research). I'm interested in cognitive and emotional disorders in patients before and after cardiooperation.
