Biography
Dr. Paul Zei is a clinical electrophysiologist and cardiologist at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA, USA. He is Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard University. He completed his MD and PhD at Stanford University, Medicine, Cardiology, and Electrophysiology training at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
Dr. Zei's research focuses on new technologies for the treatment of complex arrhythmias. He is a founding leader of the REAL-AF, DYNAMIC-AF, and HRCRS registries and learning health systems. He is interested in the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning in the EP lab. He has pioneered techniques that enable zero fluoroscopy catheter ablation procedures. He has also pioneered the emerging field of noninvasive stereotactic radioablation for the treatment of arrhythmias.
Dr. Zei is fluent in spoken Mandarin Chinese. He is an avid pianist and skier.
