Biography
Professor Valentina-Oana Buda, PharmD, PhD, Habil., is a clinical pharmacist and Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the “Victor Babeș” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Timișoara, Romania, where she serves as Director of Department I. She also practices at the Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases Timișoara, focusing on pharmacotherapy optimization, medication safety, antimicrobial stewardship, drug interactions, and individualized dosing in complex cardiovascular patients. Her research interests include clinical pharmacy, cardiovascular pharmacology, medication optimization in older adults, antimicrobial resistance, endothelial dysfunction, and bioactive compounds. She is a member of the Education Committee (EdCom) of the European Society of Clinical Pharmacy (ESCP). She speaks Romanian, English, and French fluently and enjoys travel and architecture.
