Biography
Dr. Gentile graduated summa cum laude at La Sapienza University in Rome and named valedictorian of her graduating class. She did part of her training at Vienna General Hospital in Austria. Since 2019, she has been a Cardiology fellow in the University of Pavia, Italy, working in the department of Cardiology/CCU at the IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo, where she has focused on cardiac electrophysiology. She is involved in research focused on Sudden Cardiac Arrest in pre-hospital setting, post-ROSC care and genetic causes. She is a full member and data manager of the Lombardia CARe; an E-COST expert and a member of ESCAPE NET group. She worked in the EP lab and Inherited Arrhythmia program in Pavia and New York City. She is a very determined advocate for international medical collaboration along with exchange of ideas in a multicultural background. She believes that sharing knowledge through research is a great opportunity for everyone.
