Doctor Henrique Turin Moreira

Dr. Henrique Turin Moreira is attending physician at the Cardiology Division from the Hospital das Clínicas de Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo, at Ribeirão Preto, Brazil. In this University, he received his MD degree in 2004, completed clinical Residence in Internal Medicine (2006), Clinical Fellowship in Cardiology (2009) and Training in Echocardiography (2009). Following his clinical training, he received a PhD degree in Medical Sciences in 2015 from that University using Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance and Echocardiography to study the right ventricle in patients with Chagas disease. From 2014 to 2016, he joined the Johns Hopkins University as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Cardiovascular Imaging, mentored by Dr. João Lima, working with Speckle Tracking Echocardiography, 3D-Echocardiography and Cardiac Computed Tomography in the Coronary Artery Risk Development in Young Adults (CARDIA) study.
