Biography
Maria Wahlström has been working as a nurse for 30 years and the last 15 years with heart diseases. She is an educated yogatherapist and has been evaluating the effects of MediYoga in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation since 2011. She did her dissertation at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden in January this year. Nowadays she is working as a lecturer at Sophiahemmet University, Stockholm, Sweden and is continuing her research with yoga and patients with atrial fibrillation.
