Dr. Amr A. Othman (a.k.a. Amr Abdelbadee) is a junior cardiologist from Egypt. He currently works as a trainee physician at the Department of Cardiology, Assiut University Hospitals. Currently, he is pursuing his MSc. Cardiovascular Medicine studies at Assiut University Faculty of Medicine in Egypt, where he received his MBBS degree. He was one of the founders of the Mentor-Student Research Link project, an initiative aimed at encouraging medical students in Egypt to learn, do and publish scientific research work, both locally and internationally. In addition, he received lab training at the Department of Cell Biology at Facultad de Medicina, Universidad de Valladolid in Spain. He is a native speaker of Arabic, while speaking English with good fluency, in addition to basic French and basic Spanish. His research interests include: Acute coronary care, coronary intervention, heart failure, valvular heart diseases and COVID-19.
