Nancy K. Sweitzer, MD, PhD, is the Director of the Sarver Heart Center and the Chief of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. She is a heart failure and transplant cardiologist. She is the editor in chief of Circulation: Heart Failure. Her research has focused on the physiology and biology of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, clinical trials in heart failure, and early phase clinical trials in cardiovascular medicine.
