Doctor Ilan Amos Marcuschamer

Rabin Medical Center, Petah Tikva (Israel)

Dr. Ilan Marcuschamer was born and raised in Mexico City where he studied and graduated medical school with Suma Cum Laude award at Anahuac University in 2010. In 2011, he emigrated to Israel, were he continued onto his Internal Medicine residency at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, which he completed in 2015 with an award of excellence granted by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Later on, he joined the Israel Defense Air Forces as a field physician for a volunteer service of one year. Since 2016 and up until today, Dr. Marcuschamer is participating in the cardiology fellowship program at the Rabin Medical Center in Petah Tikva, Israel, and is expected to complete his training at the end of 2019. Dr. Marcuschamer has been deeply involved in medical education and has headed many research projects, particularly those related to CHF, CAD and HCM. Alongside these, he has lead and is currently active in several exciting innovation biomedical programs in the cardiovascular field.
