Chief cardiologist and epidemiologist，Director of WHO Collaborating Center for research and training in cardiovascular diseases，Director of epidemiology department. Dr. LIU is a trained epidemiologist and has a major interest in disease burden, risk factor, evaluation of post intervention treatment and community control of cardiovascular disease. She has been engaged in the prevention and treatment of hypertension and coronary heart disease for more than 20 years. Since 2010 she begins focus her research on congenital heart disease(CHD) both in neonate and adult., including risk factors, post intervention evaluation, multi-center registration, setting up database, patient’s management and education, et al.
