Doctor John-Paul Carpenter

Dr John-Paul Carpenter MD(Res) FRCP FESC FSCMR is a cardiologist with a specific interest in cardiovascular imaging including echocardiography, cardiac CT and cardiovascular MR. He started at University Hospitals Dorset, UK (Poole and Bournemouth) in 2013 after training at the Royal Brompton Hospital, the National Heart and Lung Institute in London and the Wessex Cardiothoracic Centre in Southampton. He is Co-Chair for Certification for EACVI for all 7 imaging modalities, having previously been the EACVI Examination Board Chair for CMR and Co-Chair for CMR Lab Accreditation. He was also a founding board member of the British Cardio-Oncology Society. He has now been given the opportunity to move to the UAE (Abu Dhabi) to set up cross-sectional cardiovascular imaging services for Mubadala Health at Healthpoint Hospital.
