Christoph has finished his cardiology training at the University Heart Center Freiburg in September 2022 after training in Internal Medicine, Sports Medicine and Sports Cardiology at the Sports Medicine Department of the University Medical Center Freiburg and leading the elite sports section there from 2017-2019. He is keen to extend his skills in Cardiac MRI/CT. With his postdoctoral research Christoph is aiming to apply methods from exercise physiology (e.g. cardiopulmonary and metabolic performance testing) for the benefit of heart failure patients. Christoph obtained his MD at Freiburg University after studying in Marburg, Freiburg and Tampa. Christoph is holding an MBA from the Open University and a M.Sc. in Sports Cardiology from St. George's University. He is proud to have been named an ESC Fellow in 2022.
