Biography
I’m a young consultant cardiology, actually working at the Heart Failure and Rehabilitative Cardiology Department, AO dei Colli Monaldi Hospital, Naples. I’m principally employed in the management of Advanced Heart Failure patients with indication for LVAD of Heart Transplant. In my carreer, I attended the Laboratory of Echocardiography directed by Prof- Eustachio Agricola in San Raffaele Institute of Milan, acquiring knowledge and experience in the field of interventional and surgical echocardiography, with a focused research activity on percutaneous mitral valve repair and advanced echocardiographic techniques. My principal field of interest and research is basic and advanced cardiac imaging, in particular 2D and 3D transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiographic study of valvular and structural heart disease and its surgical and percutaneous treatment.
