Doctor Varvara Veretyuk

Dr. Varvara Veretyuyk is an Assistant Lecturer in Novosibirsk State Medical University, Dep. of urgent cardiology, endocrinology and occupational medicine (Faculty of Continuing Medical Education) and doctoral candidate. Her research activities focus on cardiovascular prevention and cardiovascular risk evaluation, visceral obesity, metabolic syndrome and atherosclerosis. She graduated in Medicine (magna cum laude) at the State Medical and Pharmaceutical University “Nicolae Testemitanu” in Chisinau, Moldova, then continued her clinical training in Residency Family Medicine. After 10 years of medical practice as a family physician, she has moved to Novosibirsk, Russia, to undertake her research training. She provides a clinical service at the Applied research medical center “Innovation and Health”, Novosibirsk, where she combines daily medical practice with research activities in the field of cardiovascular riskometry. She is a member of Russian Society of Cardiology, EAPS.
