Biography
Pardeep Jhund is Professor of Cardiology and Epidemiology at the University of Glasgow and an honorary consultant cardiologist at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow, UK. His research interests focus on heart failure. He uses clinical trials and epidemiological datasets to understand the epidemiology of cardiovascular disease and test new therapies. Prof Jhund is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), the Heart Failure Association of the ESC (FHFA) and the Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh. He has co-authored over 400 publications and is the author of chapters in the ESC Textbook of Cardiovascular Medicine and Oxford Textbook of Heart Failure.
