Prof Kaz Negishi is Professor of Medicine at the University of Sydney; Head of Discipline of Medicine at Nepean Clinical School; a Cardiologist at Nepean Hospital, NSW; and a current Australian National Heart Foundation Future Leader Fellow. He had his Cardiology training and PhD in Japan, then spent three years in Cleveland Clinic, OH, USA before he came to Australia. He holds Fellowship recognitions from multiple international cardiac societies (FACC, FESC, FAHA, FASE, and FCSANZ). His interests include early/subclinical stages (A or B) heart failure, including diabetic cardiomyopathy and Cardio-Oncology. He is also interested in Environmental Cardiology, especially on air pollution and cardiovascular diseases.
