Doctor Paolo Ferrero

Since 2026, I have worked as a Pediatric Cardiologist at the Vittore Buzzi Children’s Hospital in Milan. From 2024 to 2026, I gained specialized experience in heart transplantation and ventricular assist devices (VAD) at the Borgo Trento University Hospital in Verona.Previously, I served as a pediatric and adult congenital cardiologist at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato (2021–2024) and worked at Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital in Bergamo: in electrophysiology (2008–2013) and pediatric cardiology (2013–2021).My main expertise lies in pediatric cardiology and congenital heart disease, focusing on fetal echocardiography, pulmonary hypertension, and advanced heart failure, enhanced by fellowships in the UK and India. I have authored over 80 peer-reviewed publications and I am an active FESC, ESC, and AEPC member.
