Biography
Mohamed Alami is a Professor of Cardiology (Casablanca, Morocco). He was the President of the Moroccan Association of Cardiology from 2004 to 2007 (AMCAR), and the President of the Cardiovascular Prevention Association in Morocco (Tous Avec le Coeur). He is the President Elect of the Moroccan Society of Cardiology (SMC).
He received the Fulbright Scholarship in 1993 and trained at the UAB (University of Alabama at Birmingham). He also developed several softwares in the area of cardiovascular diseases (Stroke risk calculator; Impact of Lifestyle changes on cardiovascular risks...).
Current research activities include Medical Reasoning and Clinical Decision Making; assessment of Cardiovascular Risks; Blood Pressure – Cholesterol objectives; and Cardiovascular prevention at the community level.
