Biography
Da-Un Chung, MD is a board-certified physician in internal medicine, emergency medicine and critical care medicine. He is currently receiving fellowship training in cardiology at the Department of Cardiology & Critical Care Medicine at the Asklepios General Hospital St. Georg Hamburg, Germany. He has special interest in cardiogenic shock, cardiac device therapy, lead management and cardiovascular imaging. Dr. Chung graduated from Medical School at the Heinrich-Heine University Duesseldorf, Germany in 2014 with high honors and began his residency training at the University Heart & Vascular Center in Hamburg shortly thereafter. His scientific activities focussed initially on cardiac rhythm management and SCD. In 2019, he began his training in cardiac critical care at Asklepios General Hospital and continued his research activities with special focus on lead management and lead extraction.
