Grzegorz Kubiak, MD, PhD is an experienced cardiologist working in the Department of Heart Transplant and Mechanical Heart Support in the Silesian Center for Heart Diseases in Zabrze. He is an echocardiographer who has been carrying out tests for many years on the most difficult patients with end-stage heart failure, valvular diseases and after cardiac surgery. Since 2011, he has been a certified independent operator of interventional cardiology - performing acute medical duties in numerous catheterization laboratories across Europe, he has performed over three thousand intervention procedures in the field of diagnostics and therapy of patients with coronary heart disease, heart attack and after heart transplantation. Moreover, he performed over a thousand of right heart catheterizations and several hundred biopsies of myocardium. Dr. Kubiak is involved in the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, nutrition, and active ways of spending time in the fresh air.
