Biography
Dr. Ahmed Salem Beela is a cardiologist and cardiovascular imaging specialist with an international academic and research background. He graduated from Suez Canal University, Egypt, and obtained a Master's degree in Cardiovascular Diseases, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Medical Imaging at KU Leuven, Belgium. He completed research fellowships at the Medical Imaging Research Center (MIRC), KU Leuven, and earned his PhD in Cardiovascular Diseases from Maastricht University, The Netherlands. His research activities have been conducted within the Cardiovascular Research Institute Maastricht (CARIM), Maastricht University, Maastricht University Medical Center+ (MUMC+), and Jessa Hospital, Belgium. Dr. Beela is certified by the American Board of Echocardiography and is registered to practice medicine in both Egypt and Belgium. His main interests include cardiovascular imaging, echocardiography, heart failure, and translational cardiovascular research
