Professor Tatiana Kruchina

Dr. Kruchina is a full professor in cardiology at Saint Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University and is the director of the Center for Heart Diseases in Children at Children's City Hospital in Saint Petersburg, Russia. She graduated from the First Pavlov State Medical University of Saint-Petersburg in 1989. Her primary clinical focus includes cardiac arrhythmias in adults and children, electrophysiological studies, and pacemaker programming. She conducted extensive research focused on the clinical course of heart rhythm disturbances in children, and her primary area of interest includes etiology, pathogenesis, clinical progression, and prediction of pediatric cardiac arrhythmias. She has been an invited speaker to many cardiology symposiums in Russia, is a national expert in supraventricular tachycardia, and has more than fifty first-author publications, including her book titled "Supraventricular tachycardia in children".
